Introduction to Quality Deer Management
This Presentation covers the founding principles of QDM.
Building Deer Habitat for all Four Seasons
This presentation looks at using food plots, tree plantings, and sanctuaries to create a year round deer habitat. This includes a tour of several food plots and habitat improvement projects.
A Demonstration on Fruit Tree Grafting
This presentation and hands on demonstration will help you utilized soft mast trees like apple and pear in your habitat program.
Managing Standing Timber for Better Habitat
A tour will be given of recent timber management activities.
Round Table Discussion
During the Cook Out Style Lunch a Round Table Discussion will be Conducted on QDM, Food Plots and Habitat Management
No-Till Drill
Demos of the Cambria County No-till Drill Can be Seen After Lunch.

QDMA Short Course & Food Plot Demonstration
*Participants will have the opportunity to see active food plots with cool season legumes, summer annuals, and brassicas *Various habitat improvement projects will also be shown. *QDMA informational material will be on hand along with representatives from the State Chapter. *There will be opportunities to receive hands on training in jaw bone ageing of white tail deer. *There will be live demonstrations of the Cambria County Conservation Districts no-till drill.
